American rapper Cameron Jibril Thomaz better known by his stage name Wiz Khalifa says he is celebrating his 29th birthday at home with his son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.
The ‘we dem boys’ hitmaker made this announcement via a picture of himself and his son on Facebook.
“29 years and this is the only guy I want to spend my birthday with. I've eliminated all the noise from my head and removed myself from all the crowds I know I don't belong to and it's brought me closer to the thing I love most, My family. The most important thing to me is raising and nurturing my tribe so I'll be spending my birthday at home doing just that. What God truly put me here to do. Peace and love.”
Khalifa released his first studio album, Rolling Papers in 2011. The album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 197,000 copies in the United States. The album won Best New Artist at the BET Awards of 2011.
