Jamaican Dancehall artiste Mr. Vegas, announced via Facebook and Instagram on Saturday that he has made Jesus his choice and decided to answer his call.
In a video post on Facebook for his popular 'MV Corner' series, Vegas said, "we did a Mr. Vegas Dancehall concert... and the fans were so understanding... when I told them the road I wanna travel
on... it was a good vibe."
He also said, "When I heard the people singing out loud 'One Day At A Time' and in a nightclub where the people want to hear 'Brukout music', "it just touched my heart and confirmed my decision that this is the road I need to be on."
Vegas was in New Haven, Connecticut for the 'Summer Madness' show alongside fellow Dancehall artiste Khago. During his announcement, he mentioned that his decision is not one he made in the moment, instead, "it’s just something that comes over you and you can’t resist it, you have to just give in."
He also said that he wanted to take the step months ago but refrained out of fear of being bashed because Lady Saw had just announced that she would be making the leap of faith with God and the feeling wasn’t nice.
