Nine-time Olympic gold medal winner Usain Bolt, revealed that he wants to work with high school track and field athletes when he retires after the 2017 World Championship in London.
Bolt in an interview on 'The Pat Kenny Show' in Ireland mentioned that helping Jamaican high school
track and field athletes is one of the many projects he wants to take on after he competes for the last time at the London World Championship in August of next year. He said, "... I want to work with high school kids in Jamaica to help them to move onto the professional level."
In addition to helping young Jamaican high school athletes, Bolt said, "“I have a lot of things lined up after London. I am a Brand Ambassador for Digicel, they will keep me busy I’m sure. I also have other sponsors, which I’m Brand Ambassador for. And I know I have to stay in track and field so I know I will find a lot of work to do in track and field."
Bolt created history at the recently concluded Olympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro after he won gold in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m events to become the first man to win the events at 3 successive Olympic Games. He first won the events at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
