MAVADO & POPCAAN DISSING EACH OTHER AGAIN

Jamaican dancehall musicians Mavado aka Gully Gad and Popcaan, have deepened their ongoing clash with new diss songs.

Mavado released a new diss song in the week titled, “Funeral.” In the song, Mavado sings, “yuh dutty dread song cyah stick, yuh best friend Jamie dun born as a fish…”

The Gully Gad also said, “underpants get yuh killy dem crazy, simple mean say yuh killy dem shakey… a you say yuh born wid two daddy dat mean you a ba**y man baby…”

Popcaan has since responded with ‘RPG’, saying in patois, “bwoy tek one month fi find chune a wahpm to Jamaican Meek Mill?” He also said, “wah do da bwoy yah weh bad every month, weh nyam bay gal inna him blue benz front…yuh dun dead from 08’ inna 16’ a yuh ghost mi a hunt…”

The two dancehall acts have been in a war of words since Popcaan released his ‘World Cup’ song where he said, “wi nuh know bout league cah we name world cup,” which Mavado took as a diss because he sang, “It’s a Big League… yay it’s a big league” and recorded ‘Dem Run Een’.

Popcaan wasted no time and released ‘Dutty Dread’ right after.
