ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT LIVE IN CONCERT AT DSTV DELICIOUS


American hip-hop group Arrested Development will on October 8th mount the stage of DSTV DELICIOUS in South Africa to thrill Hip hop lovers across the African continent with amazing performance.

Arrested Development was formed in 1988 by rap vocalist Todd Thomas aka "Speech" and turntablist Timothy Barnwell well known as "Headliner. The group has won two Grammy Awards in 1993 for
Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group and was also named Band of the Year by Rolling Stone magazine.

The group is the first and only rap group till date to win the Grammy’s coveted Best New Artist award. Arrested Development is the first ever in rap music to have an elder (Baba Oje) who brought wisdom to the youthful energy of the group. 

Arrested Development is the 2nd ever in hip-hop to tour with a live band, to have female and male members, plus vaunt a message of hope, change and celebrating life.

The hip-hop group will rock the stage on Saturday along with Macy Gray, De La Soul, Elements of Life Micasa and many among others.

The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival was debuted in Johannesburg in October 2013. Headlining the music was Jamiroquai supported by a host of top South African artists. UK celebrity chefs Aldo Zilli, Ed Baines and John Burton Race showcased their signature dishes at their own popup restaurants.

The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival presented by Nedbank, the music festival for food lovers and the food festival for music lovers  returns to Johannesburg on Saturday 8 October and Sunday 9 October 2016. 

Festival organizers are promising festival patrons mouth-watering finds in food, street-chefs and delectable trends as well as a music line-up of world-class entertainment and local acts.
