Radio and TV presenter Kwame Dadzie says Ghanaians have been forced to believe that Ghanaians cannot produce quality stuff.
“We've just been brainwashed by the influx of foreign stuff so much that nothing the 'local' person
produces is of good quality.” He said to Milestone House Gh.
When asked about foreign contents flooding the Ghanaian media, he answered he had no problem with that but when too much attention is given to it compared to local contents, it affects the local manufacturer.”
Imported content is not bad but when it is given too much attention so that it takes away the relevance of local content, it affects the local 'manufacturers.”
He however said, the only solution is for the government to pass the Broadcasting Bill that allows 30% foreign contents and 70% local contents and urged the general public to push for the Bill to be passed.
