South Africa’s biggest and best loved gospel ensemble, MTN Joyous Celebration, brings its 20th anniversary tour to Polokwane this spring. The acclaimed gospel group will perform on Meropa Lawns on 10 September 2016.
With two decades of glorious worship and music, MTN Joyous Celebration is undoubtedly the most successful musical ensemble of its kind in the history of democratic South Africa. The 20 year anniversary celebrations commenced with the live CD and DVD recording of Joyous 20 to a capacity audience at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium in December 2015 whilst the rest of the country tuned in live to SABC 1 to catch a glimpse of the spectacular. Since then, a total of 13 sold out shows across 8 cities have been staged as part of the celebrations and the national tour.
The show is an audio visual spectacular, with their signature moves, majestic voices, unmatched harmonies and spectacular costumes that have become synonymous with the ensemble and have endeared them to throngs of fans across the globe.
