Award winning Ghanaian actress, writer, and producer Lydia Forson after coming out of several attacks over the years for being political is out again. This is come about for her expressions and thoughts on politics which she got people scolding her for making the NPP look unwanted in the public eye.
A very remarkable one was a long essay she circulated before the election in which, posing as a detective, said NPP may lose the 2016 election due to some big wigs in the NPP who always attack
those who share opposite opinions from theirs.
Now she is come out again after the 2016 election to drop a message for Nana Addo saying “the election is over and Nana Addo won, Mahama lost”.
Lydia stated this because she is wondering what will become of her after Nana’s and of some statements she made about Nana Addo before the elections.
However Lydia Forson says she appreciated the meaning of true free speech under President Mahama because under JM government, she could share her artless opinion without any fear from the government. Lydia is now asking if the freedom speech she enjoyed under the Mahama government will continue under Nana Addo’s regime.
She posted on her twitter page “I came to appreciate the true meaning of free speech under your rule, and for that I’m grateful @JDMahama. I Hope the trend continues…. pic.twitter.com/tKitkJqyDX— Miss Forson (@lydiaforson)”
