Yvonne Okoro, who is known for playing some of the best roles in movies produced both in Ghana and Nigeria and the producer of “Ghana must go” movie which has received six (6) nominations at the upcoming 2017 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award says her hard work is paying off.
The movie “Ghana must go” is the only Ghanaian movie nominated for the awards which featured cast from both Ghana and Nigeria. The first movie “Contract” she produced grabbed 4 awards at the same
event 2 years ago.
The nominees for the fifth edition of the AMVCA were revealed in Lagos Nigeria where Ghana must go received 6 nominations. She had this to say: I think we worked hard during this movie. Working on the contract, I had the help of sparrow production but on this one, I wanted to go on my own so it was difficult. The team put in their best so I hope that everyone nominated in the various categories will get the awards they deserve so they can also say we were a part of it.
