I DON’T USE STONES IN RECORDING – WORLASI

Worlasi, a young artist that made his way into the Ghanaian music industry with his first hit “Nuse” (strength) in 2015. At a press conference on the 15th December 2016 at the One Airport Square, the artist hinted that he does not use stones in recording his songs after being asked if he is happy with the air play of your songs so far. And this was what the upcoming artist put across.

“Air play is air play and most people who listen to air play I’m not sure will like to buy a ticket and come for my show, me I will not lie to you. I will like people to come to my show and buy tickets and watch so that I can eat, but if you are playing my songs and you are paying me it’s cool because I don’t use stones in recording, I have sacrificed a lot. I have stopped painting and now into full time music so I think I deserve some form of you know (money)”

The young artist continued by saying he wishes every tweet that he sees earns him 1cedi in his pocket, but nothing of that sought happens because he only receives notification that disturbs him when he is trying to write his lyrics. The musician added that it’s a good thing to hear radios playing his songs but he just needs more than that, which will probably be money and other things that only Worlasi can tell.

According to Worlasi, it worries him that most Ghanaians do not listen to his tracks until he released his new master piece that was produced by Kayso dubbed “You Saw Me” and because of the” Saw Me” thing people started to listen. He later confirmed that he is happy because people are using that to listen to his tape.
However Worlasi promised Ghanaians to expect more from him in 2017, since he is ending “featuring” with other artists this year.
