GHANA MOVIE INDUSTRY IS NOT DOING WELL - KOFI ADJORLOLO

Veteran Ghanaian actor Kofi Adjorlolo, who was nominated for the best supporting  actor in (drama and series) for the Movie “Ghana Must Go” for the 2017 AMVCAs, says the Ghanaian movie industry is in a bad shape.

He made the following statement in an interview, when he was asked how he sees the movie industry this year.

“The movie industry in Ghana is slowly crumbling down and it cannot be compared to some years back. Between the English and Twi movies, theTwi movies are now doing much better considering the
number of movies being put out there.” Kofi Adjorlolo.

He was again asked if kumawood is taken out of the industry, what will happen to the movie industry.  He again replied that “without kumawood, I don’t think that we will have a head way. We have to encourage them in doing what they do best. I will only reject a movie offer if the script is not well written and also because the money being offered is not encouraging”.

Kofi Adjorlolo is thankful for the producer of “Ghana Must Go” Yvonne Okoro for marketing the movie very well and making it a success ,and also giving him the opportunity to be part of the movie.
