Multi-talented Ghanaian musician Kaakie who launched her “KAAKITUP” album a couple of days ago at Urbano Hotel at the Osu oxford street says that, she competes with her mind and she has no competition in her music career.
She said this in response to a question asked by one of the bloggers present at the event about who her
female competitor is in the music industry and she answered
“I have no competition in the music industry, I compete with my mind. I don’t make friends in the industry and even if I do, I make friends with the tycoons and big men in the industry. I learn from them and apply the advice that they give me because I came to meet them and they know more than I do. I follow the likes of Samini, Trigmatic and the big men who have made big names in the industry.”
She later took the opportunity to advise women to know that they are strong and powerful than they think they are. They can do more than what is expected of them. “I believe that as a woman you must be educated, dignified, educated, and responsible. Be wise, stay beautiful and blessed and do not depend on men to give you money to get your daily needs” she said.
Kaakie is now a certified and qualified nurse apart from her music career.
