The beef between controversial dancehall musicians Shatta Wale and Samini is not ending anytime soon.
The beef which is believed to have started in 2011 when Jamaican dancehall musician Movado came to Ghana and Shatta Wale was billed to perform but he was not able to perform which he believes was a plan by Samini to pull him down. He released a song to address this issue in which he threw shades at Samini.
In 2013, Shatta Wale released sets of songs attacking Dancehall Queen Kaakie when She won
dancehall artiste at the 2013 edition of the VGMA.
In those songs, he also attacked Samini because he claimed Samini influenced where the award went since he had Kaakie in his camp.
Shatta Wale later released a song titled "Talk Talk" dissing Samini and his mum to which Samini also replied with Scatta Badmind and it got the beef heated up.
They kept on with series of attack in their songs and even during their interviews and stage performances.
The beef went into hibernation when Samini admitted on television he loved Shatta Wale's Kakai and he plays it in his car. In reply, Shatta Wale also said Samini is a dope musician and he also plays his songs in his car.
About 2 weeks ago, Samini released a song titled "VEXTRA" which many believe is a diss song at Shatta Wale. Shatta Wale responded with a tweet saying he (Shatta) will reply him soon.
Though Shatta Wale is yet to release a song to reply "VEXTRA", the two dancehall musicians has been throwing jabs at each other on social media. Shatta Wale revealed via his twiter account he (Shatta) and Samini will be on stage on the 6th of March next year to squash their long standing beef.
ARE they for real?
