Grammy award winning and International Dancehall Artiste Beenie Man, will be releasing his first album in 10 years on August 26th 2016.
Anthony Moses Davis, better known by his stage name Beenie Man the ‘King of the Dancehall’ broke the news on Instagram saying, “August 26th, Beenie Man – Unstoppable hot album… ITunes and Amazon you can get the album on…”
‘Unstoppable’ is a 21-track album that is co-produced by Major
Lazer, Tony Kelly, Chimney Records, Don Corleone among others. According to Beenie Man, the decision to use 21 tracks is due to the industry norm where you are currently getting more tracks for less money.
Beenie Man has been touring since November 2015, making stops in the Caribbean and all over Europe. His last album was the 2006 effort ‘Undisputed’ which achieved a No. 1 status on the Reggae Billboard charts.
He has a total of 6 albums, one of which, ‘Art & Life (2000)’ won the 2001 Grammy for best Reggae Album.
