DEDE AYEW’S TOP 4 GHANAIAN MUSICIANS

Swansea forward André Morgan Rami Ayew has listed his top four Ghanaian musicians.

The son of the Ghanaian football maestro Abedi Pelle in a radio interview professed his admiration for Shatta Wale especially when he was talking about his top picks.

“I like Shatta Wale because he is the number one artist right now because he believed in what he wanted to do.” He told Starr. “He believed in his music and he has charisma.

He is my number one choice. I also like Sarkodie and then Bisa KDei too. I listen to R2Bees and then Stonebwoy.”

Talking about Ghanaian music crossing over to Europe, the 26 year old footballer noted;   “When you
go to Europe, you hear a lot of Ghanaian songs. A lot of people listen to our music out there.

Sarkodie was in England, Shatta Wale is coming and things like this build our self-confidence to play at big venues and I know very soon our music will be all over Europe.”

The footballer who is preparing for the start of 2016/17 English Premier League believes he will be a better player than he was last season.
