PLAYBOY MANSION SOLD FOR $ 100 MILL

Successful businessman and adult magazine publisher, Hugh Hefner, sold his Playboy Mansion to Daren Metropoulos after earlier this month rejecting an offer made by Metropoulos.

An agreement was reached between the two where Metropoulos will buy the mansion for $100 million, however, 90-year-old Hefner will live out the rest of his life at the mansion, only giving up
his title to the house and the right to approve parties held at the mansion. Metropoulos will not be able to 'pop' up whenever he wants.

According to sources, Metropoulos who is a master product re-brander, will be joining his adjacent home with the Playboy Mansion and restore both properties to their original state.

The mansion was designed in 1927 and bought by Playboy in 1971 for $1.1 million. It consists of 22 rooms, three zoos, tennis/basketball court and swimming pools among other things.

It has been the host to several parties and events and also featured in 1987 movie Beverly Hills Cop II.
