GHANAIAN ARTISTE SHOULD NOT ALWAYS THINK ABOUT MONEY - MAVIS ANIM



Mavis Anim (May May Productions), an event organizer based in South Africa has made a loud cry to Ghanaian musicians not to only seek money but rather think about their exposure to the international market.

She made this plea in an interview with Stone on the 1000 Degrees program when she was asked how Ghanaian artistes are being recognized and accepted in South Africa.
“Ghanaian artistes are not very popular in South Africa. The problem is that, they think about money all the time. I once invited some of these few artistes to come perform and the amount they were charging was ridiculous. Sometimes it’s good to make sacrifices just to get to where you want to be.
